What is MindSet28?

Unlike the majority of other coaching programs and organisations who only look at leadership development as just one-dimensional (horizontally across behaviour), we have created the first and only three-dimensional leadership assessment and development program in the region: MindSet28.  In doing so, we specialise particularly in vertical development (cognitive, social/emotional), which is where leadership development really sits and will continue to sit in the future. We often say horizontal development is about transferring information (filling up your proverbial backpack), while vertical development is about transformation (growing the size of your backpack).

The MindSet28 Executive Cohort
One of the biggest challenges that leaders face is a sense of loneliness and the feeling of ”doing it by themselves”. Ilume has created a peer-to-peer MindSet28 Executive Cohort to bring together like-minded executive leaders who wish to accelerate their learning and development.  Our MindSet28 cohort gives leaders a genuine sense of belonging, helps to expand their networks, and offers a platform to work through challenges and opportunities together with their peers in an intimate and confidential environment.
Why change
Leaders, especially executives, tend to get cynical about being sent on yet another course they don’t want to go on or that just adds more skillsets and competencies – 95% of these programs are guaranteed to have focused on just behavioural (horizontal) development, i.e. one-dimensional. The problem with this is that their knowledge is full – they’ve heard and seen it all before. The additional challenge is that while they might already know it, they just can’t be it. In our approach, we understand that, for these leaders, it’s actually a developmental challenge, i.e. the process of growing bigger minds. Program structure
Our programs are bespoke, where we design your program based on our learnings about your organisation. Our programs are also highly experiential with guidance and frameworks for the real world. In fact, each cohort is asked to select a business project to apply learnings for immediate organisational impact. In terms of structure, we follow a fundamental structure of three modules across three months for eight days – the first and second modules are three days, and the third module is two days. We recommend an off-site venue to break free of the day-to-day routine.
Alongside this, there is an individual executive coaching program for the duration of the leadership team program for each member. In many cases, this is carried on for a further period of six months.

Your program will be entirely tailored to your goals, starting with debate and discussion around a well-considered set of questions that are just for you and your circumstances. We continue with well-proven methodology and toolbox of interventions that guide you towards desired outcomes. And you’ll experience a belief system that demonstrates the coach knows you and is genuinely interested in assisting you to greatness.There are three different programs to choose from depending on what you are keen to achieve:

  • 4 Session Discovery
  • 6 months program – 8 sessions of 2 hours each
  • 12 months program – 14 sessions of 2 hours each
